🐾 A Little About Me

I’ve always believed that life is made up of tiny moments—the small, honest stories that shape who we are. For me, those moments often happen in the middle of a pasture, during lambing season, or curled up on the couch with my rescue pit bull, Willow, snoring beside me.

I write children’s books, journals, and informational e-books inspired by:

  • the animals I love
  • the kids I’ve taught
  • and the simple wisdom that grows from everyday life

You’ll see a lot of Finn the sheep, Rupert the lamb, Willow the pit bull, and the rest of my woolly (and occasionally chaotic) world show up here.

✏️ Why I Started This Blog

I created Tidbits from Tricia because I wanted a place to share the pieces of my life that don’t always fit neatly inside a book.
The tiny joys.
The messy learning moments.
The creative sparks.
The real-life stories that remind us we’re all just trying to do our best.

I believe in kindness, second chances (especially for animals), and the magic of turning simple ideas into something meaningful.

🎯 My Goals Here

My hope for this blog is simple:

  • to share what I’m learning—about writing, animals, habits, and everyday life
  • to inspire you with practical, heartfelt tidbits
  • to build a community where stories matter and everyone feels welcome

Whether you’re here for animal stories, behind-the-scenes writing updates, or motivation to create something new—I’m glad you’re here.

🌿 A Few Fun Tidbits

  • I absolutely love lambing season—it’s my favorite time of the year.
  • I’m the author behind Willow Bean, Rupert the Little Lamb, Meet Finn the Curious Sheep, If I Were the President, There Would Be Sheep in the White House, and more.
  • My home is full of animals and books… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
  • I can talk for days about habits, organization, or why rescue dogs make the best companions.
